A combined decade behind bars for a man convicted of shooting a Eureka teen during a house party last year in Arcata. 21 year old Elijah Williams was handed four years for using a firearm to cause great bodily injury, three years for assault with a firearm and another three years on a separate count of causing great bodily injury. The victim was shot in the upper thigh in the incident. Williams was on the run for nine months and turned himself in on June 11th. The party in question took place on July 16yh, 2017 at a home on 12th and C Streets in Arcata.
