A class action lawsuit has been filed in connection with the arrests of two licensed marijuana distributors based in Eureka. Barry and Brian Clemann were arrested in September when officers found more than $200,000 in cash and two loaded handguns in their pickup. Eventually, after about six hours of questioning, they were released without charges being filed. The pair also suing CHP to get back the money that was seized from them that day. The recent suit filed aimes to keep officers from seizing cash and other items from compliant marijuana businesses and handing them over to the federal government.
